Virtual Happy Hour: The Kentucky Ninja at Sadie

Oof! It's been a rough week. Between the aforementioned car troubles during our International Ice Treats research and trying to meet deadlines with a serious head cold, there's only one solution: whiskey.
Oh sure, there are mechanics and doctors and whatnot. But at the end of a week that's sucker punched you in the gut, whiskey is what you need. And Sadie delivers.
Startender Giovanni Martinez created this riff on an old fashioned with Japanese single malt whisky, Bourbon whiskey (because we need a double dose after hearing we need $3000 worth of car repairs), fresh lemon juice, and lavendar-infused honey, shaken and served in a Pechaud's Bitters rinsed coupe.
It's stiff, slightly sweet, and just what you need after a long week.
