Culinary Art: Sweet Tooth Art Show Starts Friday in Echo Park

Between For Your Art's food themed events, John Sedlar's Pacific Standard Time collabos, and the crazy cakes by Scott Hove at La Luz De Jesus gallery, it seems that the the fusion of art and food is in full effect in L.A.
Starting Friday, another gallery will step on to the food art scene. A group showing called Sweet Tooth will be taking place at the Backside in Echo Park, featuring dessert-themed art from C.Ann, Sophia Chang, Twinkie Chan, Robert Deleon, Eric Dressen, Ducky, Vernon Easingwood, Benjamin Escobar, Bean, Benny Gold, Bobby Hundreds, Old Man, Mo, Clark Orr, PJ Richardson, Sprkfr, Suedehead, Little Sweeties, and Johnny Vampotna.
An affair like this wouldn't be complete without some sweet treats, of course, so there will be beer floats, free ice cream, cheesecake, vegan cookies, kettle corn, & grilled strawberry lemon bars for the noshing. Doors open at 8p.m.
