For those who believe that Sriracha goes with everything, there's a special wine pairing dinner this week for the hot sauce with a cult following. This Thursday, Vintage Enoteca in Hollywood will hold their very first Sriracha & Wine Tasting Event as part of the wine bar's non-traditional tasting series. The evening will involve a three-course menu featuring dishes that highlight the celebrated hot sauce, and each will be paired with a wine that can stand up to its addictive, garlicky heat.

The tasting menu will include shrimp Sriracha ceviche paired with an Albariño (Eladio Pineiro, Rías Baixas, Spain, 2014), Sriracha-BBQ pork mac 'n cheese matched with a Blaufrankisch (Glatzer, Carmuntum, Austria, 2013), and for dessert, a cookie-cheesecake ice cream parfait with Sriracha candy with La Morandina (Moscato d'Asti, Piedmont, Italy, 2013).

The dinner is $40 per person (not including tax and gratuity), and includes a half glass of each wine. For those looking for a milder option, the regular menu will also be available.

Vintage Enoteca is located at 7554 Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, (323) 512-5278. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m. and reservations are strongly encouraged.
