Gracias Madre, the Mexican-themed restaurant by the same folks that brought us Cafe Gratitude, just opened up in West Hollywood. There's plenty of plant based food, a sprawling outdoor patio with great sunlight for Sunday brunching, and a super cool shrine where you can write down your prayers and wishes. (Hey couldn't hurt, right?)

Here's a peek of what we ate on a recent weekend brunch, and the rancho-style digs designed by Wendy Haworth in collaboration with architect Victor Corona.
