Nutella can make people do crazy things, but punching a 78-year-old man in the face should not be one of them.Derrick Gharabighi, 24, was helping himself to several Nutella waffle samples at the Burbank Costco this past Sunday morning. That's when a 78-year-old fellow shopper decided that Gharabighi was taking more than his fair share and told him to take just one, Burbank Police Officer Cindy Guillen told the Burbank Leader. In response, Gharabighi allegedly punched the man in the face—over Nutella waffle samples.

The older man—whose identity has not been released—was hospitalized with a one-inch cut and swelling above his eye, according to Guillen.

Gharabighi, meanwhile, was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse and will appear in court this week.
