Photo: Newly-Vegan Jay Z And Beyonce Visit Cafe Gratitude In Larchmont
Jay Z and Beyonce announcedthey'd be going vegan for 22 days on Hova's website earlier this week, much to the delight of meat-free eaters. The two were spotted dining at one of L.A.'s favorite vegan-friendly restaurants, Cafe Gratitude, on Larchmont yesterday to celebrate his 44th birthday.
The rap superstars noshed on Executive Chef Dreux Ellis' "I Am Pure" kale salad, "I Am Humble" Indian curried lentil bowl, and the "I Am Transformed" organic corn tacos with chipotle butternut squash and black beans. They finished their meal with one of Pastry Chef Sarah Engelhart's "I Am Delighted" chocolate truffles.
According to TMZ, Anne Hathaway and Ariana Grande were also at the restaurant at the same time vegging out.
No word on whether or not Bey and Jay had to say what they were grateful for that day. Though given the pile of cash the two are raking in these days, we'd guess it's a lot.
