Truth matters. Community matters. Your support makes both possible. LAist is one of the few places where news remains independent and free from political and corporate influence. Stand up for truth and for LAist. Make your year-end tax-deductible gift now.

A fresh new cocktail roster at the busy Villains Tavern bar in the Arts District will make ordering faster and drinking more delicious.

For years, Villains Tavern has been a great spot for grabbing a cocktail or a mason jar of craft beer, while checking out a band at their open-air patio stage. But some nights the crowd at the bar could get impossibly deep, which made ordering the next round a frustrating effort. In hopes of relieving the congestion that can come from the crafting of elaborate cocktails, the bar team behind Villains has streamlined their offerings.

The bartenders were invited to put forth their favorite, most efficient drinks and together, they voted on the best ones that they could get across the bar fastest. The result is a colorful array of creative cocktails perfect for a cool, er, hot fall night. And in case you get hungry, they've got a solid selection of tasty eats, including a beast of a bacon cheeseburger and late night snacks like mini tacos and mac n' cheese bites.

So, keep an eye on their calendar for upcoming shows and head down to check out their new libations.
