We tipped you off to all the awesome goings-on earlier with our Weekend Eats section, but one thing we missed was the Taiwanese American Heritage Festival, which thankfully our friends over at Grubstreet pointed out.

The festival is free to the public, and there'll be all sorts of live entertainment, as well as some seriously outrageous eats. Think stinky tofu, shave ice, ba-wan, pork rice, peddler's noodle, and griddle cakes. That shave ice will come in handy, considering this weekend is supposed to be nice and warm.

It'll take place at the Barnes Memorial Park from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Monterey Park.
