Attention Winos: Lou Admur Popping Up At Sotto

Back in March, Lou Admur of Lou on Vine announced he'd be bowing out of his natural wine-focused restaurant, selling it to Troy Stevens. Fans of the unpretentious, eclectic strip-mall spot lamented the loss of Admur's wine geekery, but he promised he'd soon be gearing up for Lou 2.0.Admur has since been touring around Sicily, and details on said project have yet to emerge. But upon his return, he'll be popping up for a Southern Italian wine dinner at Sotto. Admur will collaborate with Sotto's wine director Jeremy Parzen, Ph.D. and wine captain Rory Harrington as they work through flights of natural wines from the region including COS, Occhipinti, and Cornelissen. The tasting will take place on June 21 at 7 p.m.
Given the popularity of his former restaurant, it's advisable to snap up a seat sooner rather than later. Tickets are $40, and include nibbles from the Sotto's Southern Italian kitchen. RVSP can be made via email to Nastassia@SottoRestaurant.com.
