The Silver Lake stand formerly known as Burrito King is under new ownership and will debut as something new within the next couple weeks, according to The Eastsider. The late night favorite, located on Hyperion and Rowena, has recently undergone a change to its exterior, including neon green walls and a new roof. When it reopens, under the leadership of the same folks who are in charge of Tomato Pie down the street, it will be a Mexican restaurant:

The new restaurant will be called Mixto Comida Latina, which will serve tacos, tortas, burritos and other Mexican food made with grass-fed beef and sustainable foods, said co owner Garrett Policastrow. He and business partner Freddy Suarez expect to open Mixto in about two weeks.
