Starting today, Dominick’s will open the doors early for what they're calling the “5 O’clock Meeting," which is basically a happy hour guised as some sort of professional productivity. From 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday thru Friday, the historic Los Angeles spot will offer a selection of small bite specials, including a single serving of their famous rice or meat balls. And who doesn't love balls, right?

Cocktails on the happy hour menu range from $6-8, and include classics like the gold rush (bourbon, lemon, honey), Moscow mules (vodka, lime, ginger), and riff on a Tom Collins called the Dom Colins made with amaro, lemon, and gin.

In addition to the aforementioned balls ($4.50 an order), Dom's will be offering oysters on the halfshell at $1.50 each, and a decadent beef carpaccio with crispy bone marrow and salsa verde for $14.
