Gambrinus on the Redondo Beach Pier's Boardwalk
I know you haven't been to Gambrinus on the Redondo Pier and had their "Russian style hamburger" called belashi, which they describe as meat-filled fried bread. IF you have, skip this post... But if you haven't then what are you doing wasting your time with these stupid American hamburgers?!
Seriously though, people who think they are "in the know" rant and rave about how wonderful it is at Naja's, which is located about 2 minutes away from Gambrinus. Yeah sure, Naja's is great if you like too loud cover bands jarring your sensibilities, and stupid toothless pier rats hitting on your lady every time you go for a pee. Seriously, fuck Naja's, it sucks, at least it does in comparison to Gambrinus.
At Gambrinus they offer a variety of Russian, Latvian, and Italian beers that are not even available at Naja's. Settle in with the warm and gentle subtleties of a Latvian Lucksus, or catch a fast buzz with some of the stronger Russian beers. I heard the #9 is not for light weights.
Gambrinus is located @ 136 International Boardwalk, Redondo Beach, CA
or call (310) 376-9215 for directions. They are super nice. Be sure to have a cookie when you get there.
