Vote With Your Fork: L.A. Chefs Cook for Garcetti Tonight

Will Ferrell might have endorsed Eric Garcetti, but, "who cares what a strikingly handsome actor thinks?" If chefs are your touchstone for political advice, then you might think of heading out to the Petersen Automotive Museum this evening.
Cooking up a storm to support the 2013 mayoral candidate will be some of the city's star chefs, including Jiro Kobayashi of Sushi Roku, Top Cheffer Antonia Lofaso of Black Market Liquor Bar, Kris Morningstar of Ray's & Stark Bar, John Sedlar of Playa and Rivera, Jason Travi of therecently-opened Littlefork, Daniel Mattern and Roxanna Jullipat of Cooks County, and Ricardo Zarate of Picca and Mo-Chica.
A party wouldn't be complete without cocktails, of course, so Steve Livigni and Pablo Moix of Black Market Liquor Bar and La Descarga will be mixing things up a bit.
The event goes from 7 - 10 p.m. tonight, with the election itself taking place March 5. Tickets are a range of prices depending on what level of supporter you want to be, starting at $100.
We wonder if Ferrell will show up. We'd love to see him drunk.
