Food Network's Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten Speaking Tonight With Evan Kleiman

Ina Garten has written 7 cookbooks to date, her most recent being Foolproof, which serves as a guide to entertaining for newbies. In the book, the Barefoot Contessa details planning a menu and setting a stress-free schedule to ensure a successful dinner party. Garten lays out the day of prepping minute by minute, giving you a game plan to work by.
Foolproof was conveniently released on October 30, right before the annual panic that sets in around holiday party planning. Her simple, delicious recipes have been a big hit here at LAist, and the new book follows suit.
She will discussing the book, as well as her background in cooking, tonight at an event sponsored by Vroman's in Pasadena. She will be interviewed by KCRW's Evan Kleiman at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre, located at 4401 West 8th Street Los Angeles, CA 90005. The interview will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $42, and include a signed copy of the cookbook.
