All-You-Can-Eat Ribs, A Cocktail Takeover & More Tasty Events This Week

Just because you plan to eat your weight in Halloween candy this weekend, that doesn't mean that you can't indulge in some other delicious food events until then. From an all-you-can-eat-rib feast to a costumed beer benefit party, here are some of our favorite happenings this week.
MONDAY, OCT. 26
Guest Bartender Takeover at E.P. & L.P.
The folks behind Hollywood's E.P. & L.P. will be featuring another guest bartender takeover on their rooftop bar, this time hosting Alex Straus of Vegas' celebrated cocktail shrine Herbs & Rye. Head upstairs to Frankie's Private Bar from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., where you'll sample from the one-night-only drink menu and chow on hits like the loaded L.P. nachos and turmeric pork skewers. Cocktail highlights include the Ramos with gin, orange flower water, lemon, lime and egg white and the Boulevardier with Rutte Old Simon Genever, Cynar, sweet vermouth, Ancho Reyes and chocolate bitters.

TUESDAY, OCT. 27
All-You-Can-Eat Ribs at Charcoal
Silver Lake's Charcoal BBQ—which openedearlier this year—will be kicking off an epic night of all-you-can-eat ribs. Beginning this week and for every following Tuesday, you can gorge yourself on an unlimited amount of delicious, smoky rib action. For $19 you can go hog wild—which is a pretty good deal depending on how many ribs you can put down—though you may want to try and save room for table-side S'mores.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 28
Women's Beer Forum at Eagle Rock Brewery
Eagle Rock Brewery will be hosting another of their monthly women's beer forums, and this one will feature a flight of spooky Halloween-themed beers and a costume party. In addition to expanding your beer knowledge, you'll get to snack on Halloween treats, take home swag bags, have a chance to win a prize for a costume contest and take home a commemorative beer glass. Admission is $28, which includes a beer tasting and all of the above. And in honor of breast cancer awareness month, proceeds will benefit the Keep a Breast Foundation (KAB). There will also be a food truck parked outside for further feasting. More information can be found here and an R.S.V.P. is strongly encouraged by registering online.
