Calling All Cookie Monsters: Eat My Blog Returns Dec. 4th

Before you read this story...
Dear reader, we're asking for your help to keep local reporting available for all. Your financial support keeps stories like this one free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

You've got just over a week after your Thanksgiving feast to make room for the bounty of baked goods you'll find on the tables outside West Hollywood's Tender Greens for the third installation of Eat My Blog.

This charity bakesale will boast goodies from professional bakers and chefs, as well as the culinary talents of many of Los Angeles' prominent food bloggers and pro writers. On the menu are things like Candy Cane Marshmallows, Curry Macarons, Bacon Caramel Popcorn, and tons more (including LAist's Smoked Salt Toffee). For the first time ever, Eat My Blog will also have treats for sale for your pets, like catnip cookies and dog biscuits.

The sale is Saturday December 4th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All the goodies will be priced $1-$4, and you can assemble a box full of all sorts of different treats with the help of the volunteer staffers. Thanks to the generosity of the donor bakers, and the good will of Eat My Blog founder Cathy Chaplin (Gastronomy Blog), 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to help raise a greater awareness for those looking to give back to the Los Angeles community.
