Get Pancakes for 25 Cents at Du-Par's Today for Anniversary Celebration
If you're on a budget, but have a voracious appetite for delicious food, today is your lucky day. The Du-Par's in the Original Farmer's Market at the Grove is turning 75 today and rolling back their diner menu to their 1938 prices on 20 menu items. That means buttermilk hotcakes for 25 cents, coffee for a nickel, hamburgers for 20 cents, and chicken pot pie for 35 cents!
CBS Los Angeles reports that owner Biff Naylor plans on serving about 4,000 pancakes.
