Doughboys Re-opening on 3rd St; Free Food Thursday & Friday

It was the summer of 2007 when the v-word caused the doors of Doughboys' 3rd Street location to be locked up--that's v for vermin--eek! By the following summer things were still messy, this time thanks to a bureaucratic saga that shut down both locations of the eatery. Last summer brought news that Doughboys was renovating and prepping to relaunch at their 3rd street location. While they're several months later than their original plan, they "did indeed have a soft opening today," reports Blackburn & Sweetzer. Better news: Their soft open means FREE FOOD Thursday and Friday from 11am-2pm and 5pm-8pm. They plan to be open for business on Monday.
