The Mother Of All Dessert Festivals Is Coming To L.A.
Early-bird tickets are now on sale for Dessert Goals. And for those of you wondering what exactly is Dessert Goals, think of it as a cross between Smorgasburg LA and the Museum of Ice Cream (yeah, we can't wait either).
Dessert Goals was started last year in New York City by Liang Shi and Miraya Berke. The one-day dessert festival has featured such vendors as Dylan's Candy Bar, Milk Jar, and Ring Ding Bar, and Los Angeles' inaugural event promises to be no less sugar-fueled.
"Vendors so far include L.A. favorites Coolhaus, AmazeBowls, Milk Jar Cookies, Honey & Butter...and Gotta Have S’more," a press release emailed to LAist notes. "We’re also bringing along one of our exclusive, best-selling NYC desserts: Ring Dings from The Ring Ding Bar."
In addition to the more than 30 vendors peddling their glucose best for that much-needed sweet tooth fix, Dylan's will also be at the Los Angeles event giving away free unlimited candy (yes, you read that right). Furthermore, Dessert Goals will be hosting a workshop focused on food and Instagram.
Early-bird admission tickets for the June 17 event are now on sale for $10, and day-of general admission will $15. Workshop tickets are also now on sale for $50.
Dessert Goals will be held at the Cooper Design Space at
860 South Los Angeles Street on June 17 from noon to 6 p.m.
