Currywurst on Fairfax Offering Free Sausage to the Masses

Have you ever tried currywurst? If not (or even if so), now's your chance -- eponymous restaurant Currywurst on Fairfax is ringing in the new year by offering free meals every Tuesday in February starting at 7 p.m. The offer will last each night for 20 minutes and 12 seconds (get it? 2012). Currywurst, in case you don't know, is a German dish that features sausages in a curry and ketchup sauce (sometimes tomato paste is used instead of ketchup). Fries are served on the side, and the meal can be prepared with or without a bun. The restaurant on Fairfax is owned by German native Kai Loebach, who opened it in August of last year.
We'll go on record as saying that we've eaten at Currywurst, and it is delightful. Just get lots of napkins -- that curry paste is messy.
