Roy Choi's culinary empire expands further with the unveiling of a second Chego location at downtown's new Whole Foods Market. If you've ever found yourself craving a Chubby Pork Belly rice bowl or a plate of cheese-smothered Ooey Gooey Fries while stocking up on coconut water and flax seed, you're in luck. When the first downtown location of Whole Foods opens tomorrow at 8th St. and Grand Ave., there will be an in-store Chego ready to serve up all of the classic Choi hits.

At the new location, anyone looking for something a bit lighter than some of Choi's rich and meaty rice bowls like the Beefy T and Hen House will also be able to score the tofu and greens-laden Leafy T, The Spiiiiinach Salad and charred seasonal veggies. So, while the menu may be a fairly limited compared to the Chinatown location, they'll still offer a pretty wide range of options for visitors with some minor variations for the Whole Foods crowd. Choi tells LAist:

We twisted some recipes using organic ingredients and making the Whole Foods Market team smile. So get your kombucha, flaxseed and a Chubby bowl like nothing ever before. So proud of this outlet—the sensation is totally new in the context of a market.

The addition of Chego to the new Whole Foods is part of the store's overall effort to connect with the local culinary offerings of the downtown. Besides Choi's bowls, you'll also be able to hit up a poké bar and chow down on one of L.A.'s favorite street foods—bacon-wrapped hot dogs. And you'll can wash it all down at The Eight Bar, which will have 200 seats—both indoors and out—and feature a seasonal menu along with craft cocktails using local distillers like GreenBar, and beers from local brewers like Angel City.

The grand opening of Chego at downtown's Whole Foods will take place on Wednesday, November 4, beginning at 9 a.m. Starting November 5, it will be open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Chego at Whole Foods Market is located at 788 S. Grand Ave., Downtown
