Soft Serve Alert: Big Gay Ice Cream Truck Coming to L.A.
Great news for soft serve fans: New York's famous Big Gay Ice Cream truck is coming to L.A., and soon. They'll be pulling into town from October 23-27, stopping in to serve their traditional soft serve with a twist at Duff Goldman's Cakemix, Heath Ceramics, Grafitti, and Animal. They'll even be coming out to the Valley on Tuesday the 23, following the Kogi truck's route.
And the owners have some tricks up their sleeve. Says Eater:
"Founders Doug Quint and Bryan Petroff have also brought with them chef Fany Gerson to craft paletas and Humphry Slocombe's Jake Godby to serve as sous chef and prepare toppings in the Animal kitchen. As for flavors and such, think vanilla and dark chocolate soft serve swirled into Salty Pimp, Bea Arthur, or Cococone cones. Sundaes come topped with olive oil and fig, Maker's Mark bourbon butterscotch and more."
