  • Looks like President Barack Obama is coming back to California next month for more fundraising.
  • Catlady Overload: Up in Apple Valley, animal control officers have removed 67 cats, many of them unhealthy, from a woman's home.
  • Now Cardinal Roger Mahony has joined the opposition to Arizona's anti-immigrant law. He joins Luis Gutierrez of Illinois and Raul Grijalva of Arizona.
  • Have we really lost the film industry now? HBO is in New York City filming a movie with a script based in Pasadena.
  • A quartet of OC men have been arrested for trying to tunnel their way into a Laguna Hills medical marijuana dispensary.
  • Parents in the SCV are objecting to the possibility their children will be reading the books The Glass Castle and The Bean Trees in school. Considering the amount of "sexual content and vulgar language" on TV alone, shouldn't the parents just be glad their kids are reading at all?
