'Willy Wonka' Screening Tonight, Complete With Themed Sweets

The weather has heated back up here in SoCal, making it a perfect night to enjoy some late summer entertainment. The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is re-launching their Monday night movie series with a screeening that sounds pretty darn sweet.
Tonight at 8:30 p.m., they'll be showing the original "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" outside by the Tropicana Pool. To keep with the theme, the hotel will serve a Wonka-themed food and drink menu, including whimsical dishes like a Bubble Gum Brûlée, Veruca Salted Pork Belly and an Everlasting Gobstopper cocktail.
Unfortunately, the walls of the hotel have not been plastered with schnozberry wallpaper for the occasion.
The event is free, but movie snacks are not. For more info, you can check out their site here.
