Video: Trailer for 'The Bling Ring' Released
Just a few short years ago, a group of teens and twenty-somethings went on a burglary rampage in Hollywood, stealing things from the homes of celebrities like Paris Hilton (she was famous then) and Orlando Bloom.
The group came to be known as the Bling Ring, because it turned out they were just lifting shit because they wanted to dress nicer. The real Bling Ring has sort of faded into oblivion (much like some of their victims! Zing) but that doesn't mean that their story has to die.
Instead, a movie is being made about the charade, starring Emma Watson. The trailer for the film, made by Sofia Coppola, was released this morning:
The movie itself will be in theaters on June 14.
