Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, has apparently decided that she doesn't need three separate mansions in Newport Beach; the 31-year-old just sold a house in the area to the tune of $3.22 million.

TMZ reports that the pad that Vanessa unloaded was given to her by Kobe in 2011. It may have been part of some sort of pleading on the basketball superstar's part, since he handed it over right after she filed for divorce. The 6,000 square foot house is one of three in Newport Beach that Vanessa owns.

Before the sale, the gossip site notes that Vanessa's mother was living in the house. It was first listed in September for $3.75 million.

The couple purchased it together in 2003 for $2.65 million.
