TV Junkie Interview: Candace Bailey on the set of @AOTS

A few weeks ago we did a phoner interview with Candace Bailey, the new co-host of G4's live news and technology program, "Attack of the Show" (Monday-Friday @ 7pm) and she invited us to come by G4 and check out the revamped set and to chat in person. We had been on the set for a live show last year and the updates we saw were amazing. We keep talking about the live aspect of the show because it's pretty impressive to put 5 hours of live TV a week and this is complicated stuff - reports from the field, on set interviews, product reviews, sketches, etc. Hint: If you watch the 4pm feed on the West coast, that's the live show - the 7pm is a rebroadcast.

As Bailey says, "Anything can happen" but she came to G4 after several years of experience doing live TV on Nickelodeon so she appears to be more than ready for anything unexpected happening on "Attack of the Show." From what is evidenced in this interview, Bailey would be able handle a surprise with a ready laugh. Longtime host, Kevin Pereira, has a perfect foil in Bailey who is both enthusiastic but still learning the nuances of the technology and the various strata that "Attack of the Show" (Twitter: @AOTS) serves.

For more info on "Attack of the Show" check out the G4 website. You can follow Candace on Twitter at @CandaceBailey5 and her own website.
