Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Star in First Golden Globes Promo Video
The producers of the Golden Globes proved that they have their finger on the pulse of comedy when they enlisted Amy Poehler and Tina Fey to host their upcoming 70th Annual Awards show. Now, the duo has released their first promo video for the event.
Predictably, it is funny. Poehler and Fey speak in "classic Hollywood accents," claiming that it's because they're so excited to be hosting the show. Then they decide that it gets old too fast to hold up through the entire show.
OK, fine...truth, it's not the funniest bit we've ever seen. But our hopes for Fey and Poehler's comedic brilliance to shine through have not waned. Here's the video:
