Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

Maybe your week has been extra-squeaky clean, or maybe your taste for bulging underwear was whetted courtesy of one now infamous Weiner. Either way, if you're looking to get a little dirtier this weekend, check out The Dirty Show at the City Center Motel downtown. The show, which originated in Detroit, features erotic art created by artists, musicians and professionally sexy folk. Contributors include Lenora Claire, Kid Infinity and Justin Pearson (The Locust, All Leather). According to the event's website:

If you have not been to a Dirty Show and are curious, or bi-curious, here is what it is not: one of those porn conventions where you line up to get autographs from XXX stars with DVDs. (However, there may be some porn stars with STDs attending). There are no sex toys for sale - unless they are handcrafted pieces of art. The art on the walls is not typical men’s mag fare; we prefer edgier artists with a little more to say. Not saying there won’t be boobs, butts and bush aplenty (78% MORE THAN A HIGHBROW MUSEUM). But it’s also a cock happy exhibition.

The show runs from 7 - 11 p.m. tonight and tomorrow night, and there's a suggested donation at the door of $15. There's no dress code, but sexy attire is encouraged.
