The Day the Muzak Died: Kenny G Files for Divorce
It's a tragic day for elevators everywhere, as TMZ reports that Kenny G has filed for divorce from his wife of 20 years. The smooth jazz saxophonist turned in the paperwork at an LA court on Thursday.
G's wife, Balynda Helene Benson-Gorelick, filed for separation back in January, notes People, so G was really just putting the final nail in the coffin.
In his filing, G asked for joint custody of the couple's 14-year-old son, Noah. As for who will get the millions made from his recordings over the years, at the beginning of their marriage, the couple filled out a prenup.
