Sumner Redstone Gives USC's School of Cinematic Arts $10 Million
The newest massive contributor to the University of Southern California is Viacom head honcho Sumber Redstone. The media mogul made a gift to the tune of $10 million dollars to the university's School of Cinematic Arts.
The gift means that Redstone will have a building named after him; the Sumner M. Redstone Production Building.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new facility will be 2,600 square feet and have two production studios, as well as:
...industry standard Strand dimming systems and Mole-Richardson lighting; floor lights, grip and electrical hardware, a Production Equipment Center, wooden stage floors, sound proofing and sound proof utility doors, among many others features.
The building will be dedicated on February 5th.
