On-Set: 'Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody' (SFW), Part 4

Truth matters. Community matters. Your support makes both possible. LAist is one of the few places where news remains independent and free from political and corporate influence. Stand up for truth and for LAist. Make your year-end tax-deductible gift now.

"On-Set" is an ongoing safe-for-work glimpse inside the adult industry. LAist has visited the sets of movies directed by award-winners Lee Roy Myers, Sam Hain, Belladonna, Kimberly Kane, and Axel Braun, and include parodies of Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The X-Files, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Tron, Reservoir Dogs, Revenge of the Nerds, The Justice League, and Sailor Moon.

Continued from Parts One Two, and Three.

So what's next for Sam Hain, director of Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody? Tonight, Hain will be seen on Last Call with Carson Daly in a pre-taped segment, talking about his love of sci-fi and its transformation into best-selling and critically-acclaimed adult movies. He and frequent collaborator Lee Roy Myers recently wrapped production on the original science-fiction epic Horizon for Wicked Pictures ("'It's like Battlestar Galactica meets Solaris,'" Hain told Gram Ponante from Fleshbot). And this Wednesday, both Hain and Myers will be joined by pornstar/directors Kimberly Kane and Bobbi Starr as participants in a porn parodies panel for UCSB Professor Constance Penley's Film & Media Studies Pornography course.

Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody is out now from Digital Sin and Revolution X.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive before year-end will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
