Before you
Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

Cute puppies and kittens are so last year. If you ask Kristen Bell, she would probably tell you that our favorite gangly sloths deserve an entire series on Animal Planet. Ask, and ye shall receive!

The network will begin airing half-hour episodes in an eight-part series called Meet the Sloths on Nov. 9. You may finally get answers for the burning questions you have about the furry creatures, like why are they so slow. The show follows a sloth sanctuary with over 150 sloths on location and will unfold like a "daily sloth soap opera," according to Variety.

Do you need something to tide you over until the show airs? Luckily, Animal Planet has launched a live sloth web cam at Zoo Atlanta (that will most likely overshadow the ever so popular panda cam) to get you to waste more time at work.
