Single White Female: Roommate Mixer Introduces L.A. Renters [UPDATED]
Here's a unique kind of single's event -- not to meet the man or woman of your dreams, but to meet the person you want to split rent with. A company called Meet. Mingle. Move. is holding a roommate mixer on Wednesday, June 13 at 1600 Vine.
The event is fairly straightforward. You meet a bunch of people, and if you hit it off with them, you can move in together. It actually seems nice and refreshing because it's so low-key; there is no pressure to, say, put a ring on it within two months.
Also, tickets are $10, so you know the people you're meeting have at least a little bit of disposable income.
UPDATE JUNE 13: We've learned that due to a venue conflict, the event has been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 27.
