Seth MacFarlane Turns Down Offer to Host AVN Awards
In an unfortunate turn of events, Seth MacFarlane has declined an offer to host the Adult Video News awards next year, after being given the opportunity by producers of the show.
TMZ reports that AVN folks reached out to the "Family Guy" creator with the hopes that he would see hosting the porn awards, which are held each year in Vegas, as an opportunity as ripe as that of being the frontman for the Oscars.
He did not.
MacFarlane's reps said that he was simply "too busy" to take it on. According to a statement from AVN, he would have hosted alongside Jesse Jane and Asa Akira and musical guest Tyga.
