The "adjusting the window blinds" defense hasn't really panned out for former San Diego TV weatherman Joe Lizura, 49, who pleaded guilty recently on a misdemeanor charge of masturbating in the window of an office building in October 2010, according to the Union-Tribune.Lizura initially told investigators he was merely tugging the window coverings and not himself, in an incident that involved the veteran weather guy looking down at a twentysomething San Diego State University student who was waiting at a bus stop. The student says she saw Lizura fully clothed but pleasuring himself while looking at her. Another person at the bus stop at the time says they saw Lizura as well. The victim identified Lizura in a photo lineup.

A case was filed in January, and shortly after, Lizura entered his guilty plea, despite his earlier denial of his involvement. He received three years of probation, was ordered to pay a $200, must attend counseling, and must stay away from his victim. Lizura resigned his job at KUSI "to pursue his own business," says the Union-Tribune.
