Video: Female UFC Fighter Flips Reporter Who Teases Her
There are lots of reasons why nobody should mess with Ronda Rousey. The UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and Olympic medalist only took 14 seconds last week to defeat competitor Cat Zingano in a swift match. And now a video has recently surfaced showing Rousey using her Judo skills to throw a TV journalist over and smash his ribs.
MMA reporter Aaron Tru recently uploaded a video interview from 2011 onto YouTube. It shows him teasing the 28-year-old fighter from Venice, saying, "I don't think you have as much strength and can compete with a man even though I'm a white belt."
Rousey responds with, "You know how to push my buttons. That's exactly how to get me to throw you"
She Judo flips Tru on the ground, and he writhes in pain on the ground, saying that he felt his ribs crush and that he landed on both his ribs and balls. She laughs for a bit before being concerned that's he's actually hurt.
Tru wrote on his YouTube page that he sustained "4 busted ribs," though that's not a medical term for anything, it does look whatever happened to him might have left a mark.
And if you're curious how the match between Rousey and Zingano went down last week, Instagram user @azxd made an endearing claymation video of the fight:
