Former Power Ranger Fatally Stabbed Roommate With Sword

The actor who once played the Red Power Ranger has been arrested for allegedly murdering his roommate with a sword.Ricardo Medina, Jr. was arrested by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies on Saturday at his home on the 38000 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road in Elizabeth Lake. Medina and his roommate Joshua Sutter had gotten into an argument around 3:45 p.m. that escalated into a fight, and Medina retreated into his bedroom with his girlfriend. Sutter then forced his way into the room, Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez told Fox 11, and that's when Medina stabbed him with the sword.

Medina called 911 and was arrested by authorities when they arrived. Sutter was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Medina played the Red Ranger on Power Rangers Wild Force in 2002 and latter appeared as another character on Power Rangers Samurai.
