Photos: The Last Ever 'Xena: Warrior Princess' Convention Costume Contest
Xena: Warrior Princess fanatics are gathering this weekend for the final Xena fan convention in Burbank, and some of them are doing it in style.
Dubbed The Final Journey, the convention also serves as the 20th anniversary celebration of the very first Xena fan convention and is being held at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center, "the place it all began so many years ago." Aside from meeting-and-greeting stars of the fantasy TV show—including Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor—the many events this weekend for devotees of Xena and Gabrielle include a memorabilia auction, yoga class with Hudson Leick (who played Xena's mortal enemy Callisto on the show), and a karaoke party. This morning was the Xena costume contest, and contestants showed off their stuff.
The convention goes on for one more day, and they may still have tickets available at the door. We'd recommend showing up a little early—remember, this is the last Xena convention ever!
