We need to hear from you.
Today during our spring member drive, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

Every year, Comic Con draws almost 150,000 people to San Diego in the world's most famous celebration of geekdom. The hordes come not just trailer debuts and juicy tidbits about forthcoming movies, also to show off their fandom with some amazing, mostly-D.I.Y. costumes of their favorite characters. The more home-made, the more we applaud you.

While nobody at this year's Comic Con will top Congressman John Lewis cosplaying at his younger self, several people tried their best and put on quite a show. Here's the best from this year's Comic Con.
