Photos: The Colorful, Breezy Fashion Of FYF Fest
FYF Fest is underway, and throngs of people packed Exposition Park on Saturday to catch sets by Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, Hot Chip, and Grimes. If you were one of the thousands of attendees you might have asked yourself before leaving the house: WHAT am I going to WEAR?!
Unlike Coachella fashion, which inspired its own freakin' line at H&M, the style at FYF Fest wasn't as ostentatious, obnoxious, or uniform in its desperation to seem individual (of course, there were quite a few exceptions to this generalization). FYFers seemed to rock a lot of sensible footwear, breezy tops and bottoms, colorful, tropical patterns, and ripped denim. Pretty standard stuff!
After all, you wouldn't wear anything too restrictive what with all the delicious food options around.
