Pets of the Week: Bob & Juliet

This story is free to read because readers choose to support LAist. If you find value in independent local reporting, make a donation to power our newsroom today.

Bob is an adorable 2-year-old English/American Bulldog mix. Bob is an extremely friendly and loving dog. He gets along great with other dogs and people. Bob doesn't mind cats either! He is a sweet mild-mannered boy who would do well in any type of family or house-hold. He is a special boy who has a neurological condition. It is currently being treated and his condition doesn't cause him any pain, but creates a small disorientation when he walks. Bob really wants a forever home! If you would like to meet Bob, contact Ace of Hearts, a group that rescues dogs from city shelters and finds them loving homes.

Meet Juliet! She is a young, stunning kitty lady with a unique look and markings. She was found in the Canyons a couple of months ago and brought to Friends of Animals Foundation by a good Samaritan. She's less than one year old and a very beautiful, healthy little girl with a playful and engaging personality. She's equal parts fun, mellow and affectionate -- always ready to play and have a good time! Juliet is very healthy, spayed, up to date on all routine shots. She would be thrilled to find a forever home where she would undoubtedly blossom. Juliet is currently with the Friends of Animals Foundation, a non-profit, no-kill rescue and adoption group based in in West Los Angeles. Another kitty from Friends of Animals Foundation, Sergeant Pepper, was featured on LAist in June and is still looking for a home.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
