Suicidal Paris Jackson Just 'Wanted Attention,' Say Heartless Morons
Yesterday, 15-year-old Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital after trying to kill herself by cutting her wrists with a meat cleaver. She also downed a handful of Motrin.
Fortunately, she called a suicide hotline, and an ambulance was sent to her house before it was too late.
So. It seems that now would be the appropriate time for the grown-ups to start wondering what can be done to help this teen, who is clearly in a lot of pain. But instead, a couple of "sources" talking to TMZ decided that this is in fact the moment to begin running bitchy commentary about why Paris did what she did:
Law enforcement sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... based on the information the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. has gathered ... "She wanted attention." One source involved in the case tells us ... her call to a suicide hotline is compelling evidence "she wanted to be saved." The source added, "It makes no sense if you really want to die to call a hotline, where the person on the other end will get an ambulance over to your house."
Because cutting yourself with a meat cleaver is such a shallow thing to do. As if that weren't bad enough, another source went on to say this:
"Who takes Motrin to kill themselves? She called the suicide hotline because she wanted the attention and wanted to make sure EMTs got there in time."
Here's one surefire way to know you're an asshole: You talk shit on the method someone uses to try to commit suicide. But, you still might not be as big as asshole as the guy who said this:
One source connected with the case tells us, "She's into the drama."
Yes. The drama of inflicting serious and potentially lethal pain upon yourself. Just alllll about the drama. No doubt nothing will be as helpful to Paris during this time as opening her computer to find that people are shit-talking her.
Well played, the world. Well played.
