No Charges Will Be Filed Over Kardashians' Midnight Fireworks Show
The Kardashians will be let off the hook for the surprise fireworks show that pissed off Marina Del Rey residents, as no charges will be filed.Although the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department recommended misdemeanor charges for disturbing the peace, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office has declined to file any charges over the midnight August 26 fireworks show against Kris Jenner or Khloe Kardashian. According to a TMZ report, the DA's office determined that the Kardashians received "passive permission" from officials to put on the show to celebrate the birthday of Khloe's boyfriend, NBA player James Harden.
In the fallout of the the show and after many complaints from angry residents woken up by the noise, officials with the U.S. Coast Guard, Sheriff's Department, and the L.A. Fire Department all pointed the finger at each other over who gave the Kardashians permission.
Despite this, a lawsuit by upset Marina residents is still reportedly moving forward.
The news comes a day after it the D.A. also announced that Caitlyn Jenner won't be facing any charges in the deadly PCH crash.
