Miley Cyrus Gets Offer To Direct A Porn

Miley Cyrus has been living to get naked lately, what with her now-infamous nude swing atop a wrecking ball, her flesh-colored bikini at the MTV Video Music Awards, and her topless photo shoot with Terry Richardson.
And it seems as though all that lack of clothing hasn't gone unnoticed by the people who matter: According to The Huffington Post, a porn company called GameLink has offered Cyrus the chance to get behind the camera and direct an adult movie.
The company offered Cyrus $1 million for the opportunity, writing a letter that states, "We believe that as an empowered 21st century woman, you are the ideal choice to show the world your vision as an artist in the world of adult entertainment."
Cyrus has recently been embattled in an ongoing feud with Sinead O'Connor, and Jeff Dillon, the Vice President of GameLink, didn't miss that. According to the Daily Mirror, he wrote, "We at GameLink feel this gives you a chance to finally show the world you are not a little girl anymore and you won't bow to the pressures of the likes of Sinead O'Connor who is jealous of your success."
No word yet on whether Miley will take them up on the offer. We're guessing some of it hinges on whether or not the actors are all under 40.
At LAist, we believe in journalism without censorship and the right of a free press to speak truth to those in power. Our hard-hitting watchdog reporting on local government, climate, and the ongoing housing and homelessness crisis is trustworthy, independent and freely accessible to everyone thanks to the support of readers like you.
But the game has changed: Congress voted to eliminate funding for public media across the country. Here at LAist that means a loss of $1.7 million in our budget every year. We want to assure you that despite growing threats to free press and free speech, LAist will remain a voice you know and trust. Speaking frankly, the amount of reader support we receive will help determine how strong of a newsroom we are going forward to cover the important news in our community.
We’re asking you to stand up for independent reporting that will not be silenced. With more individuals like you supporting this public service, we can continue to provide essential coverage for Southern Californians that you can’t find anywhere else. Become a monthly member today to help sustain this mission.
Thank you for your generous support and belief in the value of independent news.
