Mia Farrow And Philip Roth Did Not Actually Watch 'Sharknado' Together

During the Twitter explosion caused by last night's epic SyFy film, "Sharknado," one of the internet's favorite tweets came from Mia Farrow. Farrow posted a picture of herself with Philip Roth, captioning it "we're watching #sharknado."
This intersection of intellectualism and cultural sewage caused the web's mind to explode, and everyone from Gawker to Slate posted the tweet as evidence that Sharknado had officially infiltrated the highest echelons of our country's finest minds.
But! Alas. It turns out that the tweet was fake. Today multiple news outlets are reporting that the photo, which has since been deleted from Farrow's account, was actually taken during a dinner party last month:

However, while she might not have watched the film with Roth, it looks like she did watch it by herself. Farrow posted three tweets indicating that she was partaking in last night's societal zeitgeist:

Omg omg OMG #sharknado

Tomorrow I'll pick up a chain saw

Which leads us to only one conclusion: Philip Roth was unamused.
