"Little Man" Gets Worst Reviews of Summer
This summer has seen its share of somewhat-successful movies. Now comes the Wayans Brothers' "Little Man", which was #2 at the box office last weekend, second only to the record-breaking monster "Pirates II".
The comedy is #1, however, for receiving negative criticism. Currently a 16% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, "Little Man" kicked the Adam Sandler bomb "Click" out of last place. Sandler's latest received a 22%, meaning only 22% of the reviewers recommend the film.
"Thumbs aren't the only things sucking in this slight summer comedy with a tortured plot and predictable laughs." - Lauren Metz, Premiere
"Not even White Chicks can prepare you for the badness brought on by Little Man. This "Li'l Bubba's House" is my early Razzie favorite and definitely the worst theatrical release so far this year." - Joel Meares, FlimCritic.com
"In the search for gags involving inappropriate contact between adults and a supposed child, the film doesn't overlook an orifice or an excretion." - Keith Phipps, Onion A/V Club
"I got so bored, I started counting all the continuity errors." - Loey Lockerby, Kansas City Star
