Lindsay Lohan Fires Her Attorney [UPDATED]

Lindsay Lohan has fired her long-time attorney Shawn Holley in favor of a big shot New York guy Mark Heller to defend her against recent charges of assault, reports TMZ.
Holley is the one who kept Lohan out of jail following her jewelry thief charges, as well as representing her throughout her numerous DUIs and probation violations and house arrests.
Sources allegedly told the gossip site that Heller is considered by other New York attorneys to be a "menace to the public."
Lohan, meanwhile, has been in the news for her erratic behavior while on set for "The Canyons," the movie adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis book. She was caught on tape ripping co-star James Deen a new one, and was profiled in the New York Times acting bizarre.
UPDATE 3:50 LiLo is apparently saying that she had nothing to do with the firing of Holley, despite the fact that her signature appears on a letter to Holley in which she is fired.
