LA Angels defeat New York Yankees 5-1. Don't look now but the Angels have won eight games in a row and are now armed with a winning record for the first time since their opening day win against Kansas City. Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI lifting his batting average to .238.

Milwaukee Brewers defeat LA Dodgers 2-1. The Brewers clinch the season series with all five games so far being one-run affairs.
