If you thought comedy was going to be slowing down this week, boy were you wrong. LAist favorite Holy F*ck is still going strong, UCB is putting up some great holiday-themed shows, and Sarah Silverman brings some friends out to Largo on Monday. Don't miss a minute of the yuletide fun.

If you know of any shows for New Years and beyond, feel free to email them here and we'lll work to get them up. Happy Holidays!

MONDAY 12/20

Mike Epps Toy Drive, 8p Ontario Improv. Keep snatchin’ up those toys to gain entry into yet another stand up show this week.

Sarah Silverman & Friends, 9p Largo. Dax Shepard, Chelsea Peretti, Jeff Ross and more.

TUESDAY 12/21

Bobcat Goldthwait, 8p Ice House. Bobcat has had the crazy type of career you could sit and listen to for hours. So why not do it?!

Holy F*ck, 9p Downtown Independent. Laura Kightlinger, Eddie Pepitone, Brendon Walsh, Raj Desai and more rock this totally free show downtown.

WEDNESDAY 12/22

Ten Times Funnier Friends Give Back, 8p Long Beach Laugh Factory. Eddie Griffin brings up a bunch of stand ups for a good cause: bring a toy to donate as your ticket for entry.

The Dinner Detective, 8p iO West. A great group of iO improvisers, including James Mastraieni, Aaron Krebs and Tommy Bechtold set up an improvised dinner murder mystery, right before your eyes!

The Orphans & Jews Holiday Improv Hour, 11p UCB. Got nothing going on this Christmas? Neither do these great improvisers! Come watch some fantastic make-em-ups from UCB regulars Curtis Gwinn, Todd Fasen, Mookie Blaiklock, Heather Campbell, Allan McLeod and more.

FRIDAY 12/24

All-Star Comedy, 8p Laugh Factory. No word on how ‘all-star’ this line up will really be, but it’s probably better than sitting at home.

16 Headlining Comics, 9p Comedy Store. Another cattle call show of rotating comics all getting 15 minutes, but it probably beats the alternative.

SATURDAY 12/25

Gabriel Iglesias, 8p Brea Improv. One man takes on an entire holiday. His only ammo? Laughs. Join the fight.

A Very Jewish Christmas, 9:30p Laugh Factory. Elon Gold brings up some comedian friends for a night of Jew-friendly comedy.
